Hong Kong-Listed Robotaxi Stocks Accelerate Application Footprint Expansion: CaoCao Mobility Lands in Zhuhai to Advance Smart Mobility Development

On August 1, CaoCao Mobility officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, to collaborate on a ground-air-space integrated smart mobility demonstration project and jointly advance the development of smart transportation scenarios in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This partnership marks the latest practice of Hong Kong-listed robotaxi stocks in deepening their robotaxi commercialization deployment.

As artificial intelligence, autonomous driving and smart transportation converge at an accelerating pace, robotaxi commercialization is evolving from single-point operational pilots to city-level application rollouts. Industry competition has shifted from vehicle testing to capabilities spanning operational systems, infrastructure and multi-scenario synergy. Platforms with mature operational experience and industrial ecosystem advantages are constantly expanding the boundaries of Robotaxi deployment. Against this backdrop, Hong Kong-listed robotaxi stocks player CaoCao Mobility has continued to refine its robotaxi commercialization capabilities, driving the extension of Robotaxi applications to more cities.

Under the agreement, CaoCao Mobility will gradually roll out autonomous driving mobility services in Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, tailored to local commuting, coastal sightseeing and scenic area shuttle scenarios, to build a zero-carbon smart mobility demonstration project integrating vehicles, photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, power grids and low-altitude airspace. The company will also construct a Green Intelligent Mobility Hub, which integrates functions including automated battery swapping, intelligent quality inspection and remote dispatching, with reserved supporting spaces for low-altitude aircraft to lay the groundwork for scaled Robotaxi operations and ground-air coordinated mobility in the future.

As the primary commercialization vehicle for Geely Holding Group’s Robotaxi business, CaoCao Mobility continues to build a trinity full-factor closed-loop ecosystem centered on “intelligent purpose-built vehicles + intelligent driving technology + intelligent operations”, constantly refining its robotaxi commercialization system. As of December 31, 2025, CaoCao Mobility’s service network had covered 195 cities across China. Its long-accumulated expertise in fleet dispatching, digital operations and user services provides solid support for the continued expansion of its Robotaxi business. It is worth noting that the company has operational experience managing over 38,000 custom vehicles. This fleet belongs to the operational system established during the era of manned ride-hailing, which has laid the groundwork for future Robotaxi fleet management but does not constitute existing Robotaxi assets.

In terms of vehicle R&D, CaoCao Mobility is also advancing the development of purpose-built robotaxi products in parallel. Eva Cab, China’s first natively developed purpose-built robotaxi with CaoCao Mobility’s deep involvement in product definition and R&D, has been officially unveiled. It adopts a steering-wheel-free, no-front-passenger-seat design and is developed via forward engineering specifically for autonomous driving operational scenarios. Under current plans, the model will enter mass production in 2027, with a target of deploying 100,000 units cumulatively by 2030 to further enhance scaled operational capabilities.

Beyond its domestic deployment, international cooperation is also a core component of CaoCao Mobility’s Robotaxi strategy. In recent years, the company has established a strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and separately advanced robotaxi commercialization cooperation in the Middle East and Europe with K2 Group and May Mobility, constantly expanding overseas application scenarios for autonomous driving mobility and accumulating cross-regional operational experience.

Industry insiders broadly agree that robotaxi commercialization has entered a development stage that places greater emphasis on ecosystem synergy. Vehicle platforms, operational capabilities, infrastructure and scenario expansion capabilities will collectively determine commercialization efficiency. The launch of the Zhuhai project further enriches the smart transportation practices of Hong Kong-listed robotaxi stocks player CaoCao Mobility, and provides new exploration directions for the deep integration of Robotaxi with urban transportation.
